The ND genie sample. This was generated with real run like run/sub-run numbers and detector configurations. It was generated using the list provided here:

Confusingly, this dataset has been produced in two different modes. Originally we started generating it with the genie re-weighting enabled at the simulation (daq) step. However this module was observed to take >90% of the processing time of the entire tier and was causing a large number of jobs to fail when they exceeded the 24 hour time limit imposed on opportunistic jobs. As a result the decision was taken to remove it from this tier for now and then to re-run it at a later stage. The rationale for this was that apparently if you run re-weighting at the generation stage then you also re-weight all of the rock events, however if you run it further downstream then this doesn't happen.

The two datasets can be differentiated via the nova.special meta-data flag. Those file where genie re-weighting was run at simulation are identified by nova.special = none while those without it are identified by nova.special = nogenierw. CAF datasets separating the two are provided.

In order to facilitate rapid analysis so called limited CAF files are provided for this dataset. Limited CAF files are produced by running the CAF job on the pidpart files. This means that they do not contain any LEM information.
